Frequently asked questions and answers

On-site bookings are possible at any time. Our ski school office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Winter season
Office / MiniMarket: daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Ski rental: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Yes, our ski rental department is right next door and offers a wide variety of top of the line ski, snowboard and cross-country ski equipment. Come check out our specials!

Beginners generally don't need ski poles. Our ski instructors can make the determination on who should or can use ski poles depending on individual skill levels.

Yes! Helmets are mandatory for children up to 15 years. Regardless of age, we always recommend wearing a helmet for your own protection. If you don’t have one, you can rent it together with your ski equipment.

We ask that you choose your kids clothing according to weather conditions. Please don’t forget to apply sunscreen and pack ski goggles or sunglasses. If you have questions, feel free to call us.

Please make sure that there are no long straps hanging from your kids’ ski jackets. Don’t make your kids wear skarfs! A long scarf can be a choking hazard and can lead to accidents.

Always make sure you have the right equipment including properly maintained skis as well as fitting ski boots.

We always determine groups based on skill levels at the beginning of the week. However, it is possible for advanced learners to join a group during the week! For beginners, we recommend contacting the ski school office for more information.

All participants are divided into three different skill levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Beginners are divided into groups based on age. Intermediate and advanced skiers will do a live demonstration of their skills and we assign them to their groups accordingly.

In order to make groups as homogeneous as possible, our instructors can make necessary changes during the week.

Generally, yes. Please let us know when you register your kids for their course.

Every ski instructor speaks German and English. Lessons can also be taught in in Dutch, Italian, Pashto and Tagalog. Please let us know about specific language requirements when registering. We will do our very best to accommodate your request.

The lift ticket is not included in the price! You must purchase lift tickets for all adults and children over the age of 6 at the lift ticket office adjacent to the ski school.

Yes, please pack a little snack. We always take a break in our MiniKlub with beginner groups. Advanced groups take a break in a restaurant/hut in the area. They do need some pocket money (approx. 3 €). Please talk to your ski instructor on specific needs.

Final day ‘kids race’ is on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Zirbenlift.
The award ceremony takes place afterwards at 12:30 p.m. in front of the ski school.

Our ski school offers a trial day with the option of extending additional days. In case of no-shows or short-term cancellations, 100% of the costs are due.
